Mobile and tablet devices

To view DHTV on your mobile and/or tablet devices simply open a web browser on your device and navigate to http://dhtv.csudh.edu. Your device will either automatically open a media player to start the DHTV video stream or, if you have multiple players, it will ask you which media player you prefer to use.

If for some reason you cannot get your device's media player to launch, go to http://dhtv.csudh.edu and click the Mobile link in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Streaming on your computer

High resolution streaming of DHTV works well on all computer platforms including Windows, Mac and Linux. It works best with any one of the latest browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Our recommended browser of choice is Chrome because it is lightweight and fast, but all major browsers work with DHTV.

We strongly recommend closing all other browsers and all other non-essential programs on your system when viewing DHTV. You are less likely to have system-related streaming issues if you run a single browser with no other programs running while viewing DHTV online.

Note: some users report getting an error message when viewing DHTV with Internet Explorer. If you receive a message which reads, "Error loading player: No playable sources found", then you need to install or update your Flash plugin and then restart your Internet Explorer browser. Another solution is to choose to use Firefox, Chrome or Edge which do not require the Flash plugin to view DHTV.
